:iconxehara: What is your definition of Body Art?

:iconnickdangelotattoos: Body Art (Tattoos) is exactly what it sounds like, a way to permanently decorate your body with amazing and meaningful images and fine art.

:iconxehara: What kind of body art do you do?

:iconnickdangelotattoos: When it comes down to it i can do all styles of art on skin. Personally i prefer realism which is like printing a photograph onto someones skin.

:iconxehara: How did you get started?

:iconnickdangelotattoos: I got started Tattooing fresh out of high school, it was always my dream to bring Tattooing to the next level of realism and fine art!

:iconxehara: What are your tools of the trade?

:iconnickdangelotattoos: Paper and pencil is where it always starts, but ink, needles, and coil style tattoo machines are the real culprits.

:iconxehara: Do you have a signature style?

:iconnickdangelotattoos: My signature style is a vivid but realistic look that can be 3 dimensional if done properly.

:iconxehara: Do you have any limitations?

:iconnickdangelotattoos: Limitations, at the moment the only limitation i find is that some pieces take longer than people can handle all at once! but when i find a challenge in the art of Tattooing i push to beat it.

:iconxehara:  What would you say to someone wanting to get into body art as an artist?

:iconnickdangelotattoos: I would remind them that skin isn't a canvas you can just paint over if you mess up. you have to master your skills as an artist before you start poking people with needles, your reputation and their self esteem rest in the balance.

:iconxehara:  Are there any tutorials on deviantArt or outside of it that you could suggest?

:iconnickdangelotattoos: Some artists offer DVD's that you can watch them tattooing over and over until you get the hang of it! but to learn the art you must pay for an apprenticeship as if it were school.

:iconxehara: (If applicable) What is the oddest request you've ever had?

:iconnickdangelotattoos: Oddest request i have encountered would have to revolve around the placement of the tattoo rather than the design itself! I was once asked to tattoo an eyeball inside someones armpit.

:iconxehara: And just for fun... How many arrests have you had?

:iconnickdangelotattoos: Arrests? Haha im not your stereotypical tattoo artist! I'm more of that hopelessly awkward 22 year old kid with a talent for drawing and a dream to make beautiful skin art.
